Havana Town.








Everybodys first port of call in Cuba, and A great way to dive in at the deep end. Get ripped off by a taxi (should cost 20 CUC from airport to ANY address in Havana, as always, check price before you get in the Cab) then proceed to be pestered by guys on the street offering you everything from second rate cigars (always shop in a certified cigar shop) to many types of drugs, (don't do drugs) as well as the 'best' restaurants in town (find the non government owned and leave 10% tip).
Also
Fall in love and enjoy the busy city while sitting on a curb with a drink of rum or cigar or coffee. Get your cloths saturated in the fumes from cars that should have been scrap metal 40 years ago. Enjoy having your journey ahead of you.

    Its a look into the past. There seems ti be more there than I thought plainly tourism escapes from the resort set up to keep the tourist actually going to cuba but having said that plainly people do look for the country beyond the walls
